I thought Kevin Spacey was an innovative actor in various films, especially in “The Usual Suspects” and “American Beauty”. “American Beauty” in retrospect is a disturbing movie that empathizes with a pedophile hero played by Spacey. Pedophile heroes have been in Hollywood films for awhile now, but it’s taken decades for the audience to react. We’ve been lulled by the propaganda of sexual liberation, as if it were a superior, evolutionary advancement. Every time they remake the film “Lolita” or celebrate the rapist director, Roman Polanski with another award, Hollywood condones pedophiles openly.

I’ve never seen Kubrick’s “Lolita” and I don’t want to. This is how we, the audience, were slowly brainwashed.

The author of “Lolita” Vladimir Nabokov was allegedly a pedophile, who was molested by his uncle.

Polanski drugged, raped and sodomized a 13 yr old girl. He calls it statutory rape, but children can’t give consent. Their brains and bodies are still developing, rape is rape.

The then, 13 year old victim, Samantha Geimer, forgave and now even defends Polanski. I think she suffers from a kind of Stockholm Syndrome. She’s not the only one, we’ve also been desensitized and groomed.
