Bad Apple (Trolls Hate to be Ignored)

Sorry, but I have to moderate comments to my blog due to trolling. I thought I didn’t have to do that anymore but (sigh) I have to once again.

Why do people waste their time trolling blogs? It says so much about them. If you don’t like the content of a blog, go elsewhere—is that so difficult? This person thinks that they’re being righteous, but it’s a classic case of virtue signaling and passive aggression.

Here’s the latest troll to my blog:

In my previous posts I talked about my appreciation for Texas as a sanctuary (after having to escape California’s political insanity and Covid-19 dictatorship)

I tried to block “House of Heart” from my blog, but WP seems broken again (as usual). She left another comment (which I added to my junk mail folder) about how she needed to comment/troll my blog because of it’s content. She’s got too much time on her hands apparently. Why are people so self-righteous on other people’s blogs? I think social media encourages mental illness. It’s the anonymity that allows certain people to do what they wouldn’t have the balls to say face-to-face.

  1. It’s a shame you are being trolled. If anyone doesn’t like the content of someone’s blog then just skip it instead of wasting their life tearing you down. Just another bad mark on the social media world 🌎👎

    1. Thank you my friend 💖🙂, I wish people would use their own platform to share their message instead of trying to provoke others’ comment sections; stay in your lane!” 😎!

      1. You’re very welcome, my friend 💖😊 I agree, why have a blog to troll others instead of taking care of your content. Yes “stay in your lane!” 😎

    1. Ha! 😅 I didn’t realize that she’s a serial troll, “House of Heart” says it all. She epitomizes all of the “Karens” that wish they could rule over the mental asylum (aka Clown World).

  2. Maybe one of the people who never went back to work? Why waste time? If you do not like something move on. I lived in Texas for a while. I am not going to say I liked everything, but it is a great place. I have lived a lot of places. I have found it is great to experience a place by traveling. Every place has its good and bad points. No need to highlight the bad, unless it is a real issue. I think we can name some of those places right now. There is a reason people are fleeing to certain states.

    1. That’s a possibility, maybe unemployment is making them “back seat drivers”. I do tend to voice my opinions if I disagree with a post but it’s reserved for friends who I have a connection with and I’m sincere, not sarcastic in my comment, not purposefully rude.

Texas isn’t perfect, I could do without the extreme heat and scorpions 🙂 but overall I like how welcoming and friendly people have been, strangers hold the door and are very polite here which is a welcome change from where I moved from in California.

I agree it’s mind opening to travel and live in different places. I think it’s good to try to appreciate vs complain but I’ll admit I’ve done my share of complaining about CA. I guess it’s because I lived there for 29 yrs and I’m disappointed in the changes that occurred about 10 yrs ago and especially during the last 2 yrs of lockdowns. Thank you for your kind comment.

      1. Some places deserve the negative comments especially if they are making people leave. We had a murder of a parent visiting their child at university. Evidently they were putting up homeless at the same hotel. Two guys involved in the shooting I understand had long rap sheets and word is they found some pretty incriminating things in their belongings. The poor dad and his poor child. One of the politicians said something pretty callous in response to subway crime. Obviously she does not care or think of the victims. Certain places deserve the criticism. Others really don’t. They fall under the every place has good and bad things philosophy. The person commenting on your post is probably one of those people who are okay with what is going on in Cali or NY. What I am wondering about is why I am seeing ads on Facebook on how to respond to a nuclear attack.

      2. I agree, it’s like the politics in certain places want the chaos (BuildBackBetter slogan), I know some police are corrupt but not all of them, to defund police entirely is just asking for crime. I’m sorry to hear about the dad getting killed, the child must feel somehow responsible, but it’s the fault of the city’s irresponsibility. Most homeless are mentally ill or drug addicted and need help in hospitals, but not at the expense of the average person. In CA they literally enable drug addiction among the homeless, giving free needles etc. So many politicians don’t really care, they have their own priorities based on money. I think the person who was harassing me thinks she’s morally superior and thinks she can police other people’s voice/thoughts instead of just going elsewhere. I quit FB so I’m not aware of the nuclear attack ads, sounds very creepy. I heard that NY was airing nuclear attack warning commercials about a month ago too. What’s going on?

      3. I think they fear Russia will do something in desperation. There was a story a few months ago about Russia moving troops close to northern Canada? I think he has made threats using the nuclear words and I read somewhere that they are giving out potassium iodine pills in Russia to some. I may have read that in British newspapers.

      4. I heard about Chinese troops training in Canada months ago. It makes no sense. Something is definitely going on, I heard that the extremely wealthy are all building bunkers or have already.

      5. Trudeau resembles Castro for a reason, I think the rumors are true of his true parentage and allegiance to communism. Didn’t he say he admired China? It’s ironic that communism pretends to be egalitarian but it actually serves dictatorship.
